Grace McNamara has worked in the nonprofit communications field for more than 20 years, specializing in outreach and community relations. Prior to her arrival at LRPA, she worked in marketing, public relations and project management at several institutions, including Boston College, the Boston Center for Adult Education, Franklin Pierce University and Tilton School. Most recently, Grace worked at Emerson College, where she co-directed the largest graduate program and taught courses on the undergraduate, graduate and continuing education levels. She feels lucky to work with the dedicated LRPA staff, board, volunteers and producers who do so much to empower their communities through locally-produced media. Outside of the station, Grace likes to garden, play the piano, power walk, and binge-watch TV. She lives in Gilmanton with her husband Marc, daughter Alexa, and Boo — The Cutest Dog in The World.
Tim Cox joined LRPA as a student intern in 2005 and has never looked back. He holds the record as the employee with the longest tenure in the station’s history. Throughout the years, Tim has worked on thousands of shows and with dozens of producers, assisting with the production of series, events and governmental programs. A Laconia native and graduate of Laconia High School and LRCC, Tim is well known to many in the community. He is an assistant coach of the LHS volleyball and girl’s basketball teams, and also works each summer with the local Shooter’s Gold Basketball Camp. In his spare time, Tim enjoys cheering on his favorite sports teams, listening to country music, and spending time with his family.
Zack Horne has been with LRPA for the past three years. He spent the first two years as an intern through the J. Oliva Huot Technical Center, and was hired by the station in 2015. Zack brings an engaging enthusiasm to every project that he tackles, particularly location work and live event broadcasts. He was born, raised and educated in Laconia, and touches the lives of many in the greater Lakes Region community through his work at the Bank of NH Pavilion, the Merrill Fay Arena, and Gunstock Mountain Resort. Zack is an avid outdoorsman, hiking and skateboarding in the summer and skiing in the winter. He loves music, Netflix, social media, and hanging out with friends and family.
